Last week were the Holiday Parties for the preschool. Wesley's room was hysterical. Of the 20 kids, 4 of them sang along with the music man, 10 of them stood there frozen and the other 6 cried. Poor Wes was a crier, until I went over and picked him up... The worst part about it was he has been practicing his songs for a month and although you had to listen really close and watch his lips, he sang all of them... His song list was supposed to be Christmas Cookies, Little Dreidel, 5 Little Snowmen Jumping on the Bed, The Reindeer Pokey and Jingle Bells. So anyhow, he still sings all of his songs everynight. It's really cute....
Madeline Hugging friendsMadeline's room was awesome. The kids were fantastic. There were only two or three that cried or sat out with their parent's. A good 6 or 7 were up front sining, dancing and shimming around, and then the rest stood in the back singing. Madeline was a shimmy shaker... She sang all of her songs, did the dance moves that went with them, and had a genuinely great time. They sang Mele Kalikimaka, Hanukkah oh Hanukkah, Up on the House Top, Jingle Bells, Christmas Cookies and We wish you a Merry Christmas. Now that was a show!!!!
