Wow is all I can say. Summer is quickly coming to an end and I have no postings or photos to show for it. Let's see, where to start? I can tell you that July and August were fun and busy months. Both kids have been in swim lessons and are doing really well. We are taking a break for a month but will start back up in October. We spent a week up in Newport Beach this month, pictures will be posted soon, promise. The kids had a really fun time building sand castles, running in the water and just playing around. One of my oldest friends (as in long time knowing not age), Brooke and her two fun girls spent 4 days with us. Brooke, Campbell and Tenley all had a great time hanging in Newport as well.
Wesley and Madeline are both starting the new school year next week. We are still at the same place we've been for years but just moving classrooms. Wes has moved out of the toddler room, known as the Farm Room, and into the 3-4 year old room called Safari. He's in the big-boy preschool room now. Madeline has moved from Safari into the World Room which is a Pre-K program. She's already sounding out letters and looking up words in the dictionary. Of course she can't read the definition yet but she's at least finding the words. It's quite funny.
