Last night was the Holiday Show at the kids preschool. We got lucky and both of the parties were on the same night. Food, singing, dancing and a visit from Santa made the night complete. Wes and his friends in the Safari room performed first. It was a much better experience than last year. Check out the Dec 17th post from 2007 and you'll see we posted the only shot of Wes not crying during the performance, and I had to sit with him the whole time. This year he didn't' shed one tear, and he wasn't shy or scared... He sang all his songs (Rudolph, Driedel, Mele Kalikimaka, and We wish you a Merry Christmas). It was quite a show.
Next up was Madeline's class, the World room. As usual Madeline hammed it up in front with all her friends. We've always seen great performances from her, even when she was in the little 2 year old room. They sang all the same songs and then had candy, cookies and their visit with Santa too. Madeline asked for a puppy.. Not sure about Wes. He wouldn't say, or maybe he didn't ask for anything.
