The last day was Sunday... Only Jim and I with our kids made it to the park at 7 for the opening... Adam and fam were close behind around 7:30 and the rest straggled in by 8:30 or so. We rode the Matterhorn twice in a row, and didn't even get off. Wes was scared of the abominable snowman so he had his eyes for the first part of the ride but then was wide eyed and "woo-hooing" by the end of the ride. Then Uncle Matt took the kids on the tea cups. Jim and I both hate rides that spin so we got lucky that Adam and Matt like those, they went on those rides everyday for us. We all hung around Disney until 10 or so and then made our way to California Adventure.I took the kids to Playhouse Disney right away and Madeline and Wes got to sing and dance to their Disney favorites like Little Einsteins, Tigger and Pooh, Handy Manny and the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. We then just cruised the park eating and exploring.
It was the last day for everyone but Wade/Swapna and Matt, so they hung at the park with Dad and Pat while the rest of us all left between 1:30 and 3:00. We did manage to ride the California Scream roller coaster and had family bumper car time.
Definitely one of the funnest and smoothest vacations we have ever had. Everyone was so willing to help out watching each other's kids so we could all ride the fun rides, and we all got great family time. It was the first time in 6 years where all of us had been together and the same time in the same place. Woohoo!!! Now here's hoping we don't have to wait another 6 years to get together.
