We had a hot hot weekend in California- 95 on the coast, that is hot by any standards I think. So we spent the weekend at the beach. Madeline rode on a boogie board for the first time, picture will be posted tomorrow. She had so much fun. She and Wes have no fear, no fear of the water, the waves, anything, and they can't even swim yet. They are close, really really close to swimming, but not quite there. They just keep going out further and further and want to play in the water all day. Poor Wes must have had water in his ear because Sunday night he was complaining that his ear hurt and he would yell at his ear and say "stop that ear, stop that hurting". He woke up a few times over the night, but seemed to be fine by Monday.... We are all looking forward to more fun beach time over the 4th of July and then in August when we will spend a week relaxing up there.
