This past Tuesday was a big day at the Nesbitt household. Wesley turned three. We had a lot of trouble coordinating family and friends this month so we decided we would throw a mini party at preschool for the little guy and then have a nice dinner at home with The La Costa Podlich's instead of a big throw down with everyone... It was great fun though.
We hung out with all the Safari Room kids, did a pinata and ate cupcakes. Wes had a great Batman crown for the festivities and we did "Cars" movie theme. Madeline even joined in on the fun. So for a non-party it was really successful.
That night Adam, Shelly, Kaitlyn and Mia all came over to celebrate. The girls had a great time helping Wes open presents. He got loads of great stuff. From Cars shirts, to Cars pillows, BackYardigans DVD, dinosaurs and much much more. He loves all of it and has actually played with most of it already.... The kids (and adults too) all enjoyed the chocolate "Cars" cake and we rounded out the night with a viewing of "Little Einstein's" a favorite show of all the kiddies. I'm just in shock at how old he is... All the kids are getting so big. But Wes turning three is huge to me. He's just so funny and goofy now, talks about everything, understands and actually comprehends things and is really a joy. We are so lucky!
