The end of November brought us two delicious Thanksgivings. The first one on the actual day was hosted by our family. We were overjoyed this year to host Aunt Barbara, Uncle Adam, Aunt Shelly and the girls, along with my mom and our great friends John and Kirsten and their two kids. It was a long day of eating, eating, games, walking and more eating. The kids had so much fun. The 6 of them ran around like crazy people and ate not nearly enough "real" food, but plenty of dessert.
The following Sunday we headed up to our annual Thanksgiving at La Cuesta. It was kind of cold and wet this year so we didn't get the usual wiffle ball and football games played, but we did make a huge mess in the basement, every toy was out, and of course we polished off more dinner. I brought Great Aunt Betsy's chiffon pumpkin pie. Yum!!!!
