This is what Madeline tells me when I asked her to put her fan back in her bedroom, she says, "but Mommy, it has a lot of wind. We can use it to fly the kite." She's so darn smart. Why would she say this? Well earlier today we were in the front yard trying to fly her new kite. It's plenty windy, but we don't have quite enough tree free space in the bakyard to get it going, so we tried the front yard, where we don't ahve quite enought grass or sidewalk... If only we lived on a cul-de-sac, I'm sure i could have flown it. Off to the park.
